“How much will this cost?”
How much a session costs depends on the length of the session. Most sessions are one hour in duration. If you think a session may require more than one hour, please let us know at the time you make an appointment.
Francesca Carpenter’s normal rate is $90 per hour and payments are due at the time of the appointment. Francesca accepts payments via credit cards (Mastercard and Visa), debit cards and cash.
The first session usually is more than one hour, however, Francesca only charges the one-hour fee. That is due to the need to discuss non-client issues, such as the referral, confidentiality, appointment times, etc. in the first session.
There is no GST for most psychological services. If referred by a doctor, the Medicare rebate will apply. The rebate is approximately $80, making the out of pocket expense about $10.
