For those interested in making positive changes in their lives, there is a new place to go. Clearwater Centre for Health and Wellbeing has now opened its doors in Atherton. Located at 42 Mabel Street, Atherton, (on the corner of Mabel and Vernon streets) Clearwater Centre aims to offer health and wellbeing services to the community.
Francesca Carpenter and Sue Hover are two psychologists who work at the Centre. Francesca’s special interest is Positive Psychology, looking at what can improve overall wellbeing. Sue has a Master’s Degree in Applied Psychology, incorporating both individual and organisational psychology and more than 25 years clinical experience. Sue practices in Atherton, Mareeba and Yungaburra, and can be reached directly on 4096 5423.
Our vision for Clearwater Centre is more than a private psychology practice. We aim to provide quality health and wellbeing services, because healthy people create healthy families and vibrant communities. Many people only seek to move past current difficulties. And there is no doubt that is helpful, but why just survive, when you can thrive? While each individual has unique strengths and interests, there are some common themes that lead to happier, more fulfilling lives.
This column will be a regular feature, so check back next month to learn more about the simple changes you can make to improve your life. Clearwater Centre will be offering courses, workshops and services aimed at supporting people to flourish. For more information, see our website at www.clearwatercentre.com.au or ring 4091 6300.
